I have a Bachelor of Psychology from Southwest Missouri State University. I earned a Master in Social Work from St Louis University while working full time for the Division of Family Services, Child Abuse and Neglect Unit in St Louis City. I received my Missouri LCSW in 1993. I worked for 23 years as a school social worker, consulting with children, parents and teachers of all ages and walks of life, to help students find success in school. I retired from the school districts in 2015 and began my private practice. I earned a second LCSW in Illinois in 2017. It is said that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I believe this is so. I love Animals, Art and learning new things.
