Ally is absolutely phenomenal. I was a little hesitant to make the switch to online therapy, but overall its been a great decision. She's been by my side since September and I really appreciate how open our communication is. I've been able to put more focus on my mental health and have a more balanced outlook.

Allison has been an amazing counselor. She's very caring, empathetic, understanding, never judges, and always listens. Me and my wife had some incredibly tough times along with some very intense personal issues. Allison remained 100% neutral and took no side, only helped us figure out what it is we truly need and where our problems came from. Eventually I had her as my own individual counselor also and she was just as fantastic. In the end she helped me through the hardest time of my life and also helped us with the problems and what we needed to do individually to fix them.
If it's as a couple, or as an individual I highly recommend Allison for anyone having a tough time who needs someone to talk things through with.

I had some issues with my special needs child and she helped and empathized with me. I would recommend her to anyone. She helped me so much. I will be using her in the future.

I work with all ages. While working in schools for the 23 years I gained a specialty with children and adolescents. I have worked with people in all stages of life, pregnant, preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, adult, retired, elderly, end of life.
What are your specialties?
I am a generalist. My counseling in St. Louis and Illinois, provides mental health services for a broad range of work life challenges, such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Parenting and Grief.
My experience of 26 years, enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, anger and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. However, By learning that all feelings are OK; They are neither good nor bad. Some are simply more uncomfortable than others. By learning how to express emotions and master your mind to regulate your feelings rather than allow them to master you, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
My approach to helping others find their way includes teaching about Emotional Intelligence, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Shamanic Journey Work, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems techniques. I seek first to understand you. I am collaborative and think outside the box to help you turn your challenges and struggles into wisdom and strength.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples or family members who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held in a non bias and supportive way to help you discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
