Caring & Receptive
Allison is such a strong support system to have in your pocket. Even a few texts a day or week with her can do wonders for your state of mind. She gives new perspective to problems that seem impossible. I am extremely grateful for her time, compassion, and wisdom.

Allison knows the words I was looking for and that is so key to finding a rhythm and trust with a counselor. She lets me vent and her input allows me to find common ground.

What ages do you work with?
I work with all ages. While working in schools for the 23 years I gained a specialty with children and adolescents. I have worked with people in all stages of life, pregnant, preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, adult, retired, elderly, end of life.
What are your specialties?
I am a generalist. My counseling in St. Louis and Illinois, provides mental health services for a broad range of work life challenges, such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Parenting and Grief.
My experience of 26 years, enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, anger and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
My approach to helping others find their way includes teaching about Emotional Intelligence, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Shamanic Journey Work, and Internal Family Systems techniques. I am collaborative and think outside the box to help you reach your goals.
I am a trained Mediator. Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples or family members who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held in a non bias and supportive way to help you discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
I have been a provider with Talkspace since 2017. This online private therapy service has been endorsed by Olympic swimmer Micheal Phleps. Click the link below to find me there.
